Grow a Row for Project Angel Heart

Help us supplement the produce we grow in our garden and increase the amount of local and organic food our clients receive by donating your extra veggies or planting a row of vegetables in your garden for Project Angel Heart!

Produce We Accept

  • Carrots
  • Tomatoes
  • Kale
  • Collard greens
  • Swiss chard
  • Squash (acorn, butternut, spaghetti, yellow or zucchini)

Note: We only accept donations on Mondays between 8am and 3pm and are only able to accept the items outlined above.

To make sure your donated produce can be made into nutritious, life-saving meals for our clients, please make sure that items are:

  • Grown without pesticides, manure, and away from pests
  • Clean, washed with potable water, and free of soil and bugs
  • Freshly picked, not wilted, and not over-ripe

With the health and safety of our clients in mind, we will refuse a donation if it does not meet the criteria outlined above.

When and Where to Donate

We accept produce donations at our Denver Office and Kitchen on Mondays from 8am-3pm. Please park on the north side of the building, enter through the north door or ring the bell at the loading dock, and check in at the front desk when you arrive.
